Accreditation

The Process

QISMET provides accreditation against two Standards: QIS2023 and SS2Q. The process involves:

  • The provider first carrying out a self-assessment against the relevant Standard’s requirements
  • Formally submitting an application to QISMET and paying the appropriate fee
  • A desktop review by QISMET of relevant documents provided by yourself
  • A site visit (usually carried out remotely) where implementation is checked and staff/volunteers interviewed
  • Carrying out any improvements that have been identified during the site visit if necessary
  • Getting accreditation for 3 years – you will receive a logo and certificate

QISMET accredits providers around the world to these international Standards of good practice.
